Children's Christmas Gingerbread Class in Swindon Duration: 1 Hour Ages: Best for children aged 4 to 12 Booking: One adult and one child per place Something festive to do together in the run up to Christmas that is not a screen. Eight freshly baked gingerbread biscuits each, royal icing already made and coloured, and a table full of sweets, Smarties, sprinkles and Christmas decorations to choose from. You and your child will decorate together, and every biscuit goes home in a box. Allergen Information The gingerbread contains wheat (gluten), egg and milk, and the royal icing also contains egg white. The sweets, Smarties, sprinkles and decorations may contain soya, gelatine and milk. Everything is made in a kitchen that handles other allergens, so I cannot guarantee anything free from traces. If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, please contact me before booking. Bringing two children? Book a second place in the same session and use SECONDCHILD at checkout for £10 off. One grown up can stay with both. What You'll Do • Hold and squeeze a piping bag so your lines come out neat • Pipe simple outlines, swirls, dots and snowflakes in coloured icing • Decorate gingerbread people, Christmas trees, stars and snowflakes • Add your sweets and sprinkles while the icing is still wet so they stick • Box them up flat so the icing can set on the way home What's Included • Eight freshly baked gingerbread biscuits per place • Coloured royal icing, sweets, Smarties, sprinkles and decorations • Piping bags, nozzles and all equipment • Tea and coffee for the grown ups, and Christmas music • A box and ribbon so they can be given as presents Good to Know Your biscuits keep for up to two weeks in an airtight tin, lovely to make early and save for teachers, neighbours or a Christmas Eve box. Each place is for one adult and one child, who stays with their adult throughout. Everything is baked and the icing made in advance, so the whole hour goes on decorating. Nothing to bring and nothing to clear up. Gingerbread sessions run on Sunday 15 November at 1pm and Saturday 5 December at 12pm. There are cupcake and shortbread sessions across the same December weekend, and a grown up Christmas Brownie Traybake Class in the same room at 3.30pm.
