Returns & Refunds Policy

By placing an order with Kimmi’s Cakes, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

All products are freshly baked and prepared to order using high quality ingredients. Due to the perishable nature of baked goods, the following returns and refunds policy applies.

Perishable Products

All cakes, cupcakes, treat boxes, biscuits and other baked goods are non-returnable and non-refundable once collected, delivered or dispatched.

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot normally accept physical returns of food items.

Order Issues

If there is a problem with your order, you must contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery.

Please include clear photographs of the product and packaging so the issue can be reviewed.

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot normally accept returns of food products. However, in some circumstances we may request the item be returned for inspection.

Products that have been fully or mostly consumed cannot be eligible for refunds.

Once assessed, Kimmi’s Cakes may offer one of the following at our discretion:

• Replacement product
• Partial refund
• Full refund

Issues reported after 24 hours may not be eligible for review due to the perishable nature of baked goods.

Taste & Personal Preference

While every effort is made to ensure the highest quality, taste and texture are subjective and personal preference may vary.

For customers wishing to try flavours before committing to a larger order, taster boxes are available to purchase in advance.

Refunds or replacements cannot be offered based on personal taste preferences.

Design & Creative Licence

Kimmi’s Cakes retains full creative licence over the design and decoration of all cakes and baked goods.

Inspiration images may be used as a guide; however exact replicas of other designs cannot be guaranteed.

All cakes are handmade and therefore small variations in colour, decoration, finish and placement may occur.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that the final design may vary slightly from inspiration images provided.

Colours & Decorations

We aim to match requested colours as closely as possible. However, due to the nature of food colouring and different lighting conditions, exact colour matches cannot be guaranteed.

Decorative elements such as toppers, flowers, sprinkles or edible images may vary slightly depending on supplier availability.

Collection & Delivery

Customers are responsible for checking their order at the time of collection or delivery.

Once an order has been collected by the customer or delivered to the specified address, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer.

Kimmi’s Cakes cannot be held responsible for damage caused by:

• Incorrect transport after collection
• Dropping or mishandling
• Exposure to heat or direct sunlight
• Incorrect storage conditions

Cakes should be transported on a flat surface in a cool vehicle.

Cake care and storage guidance is provided to help ensure your cake remains in perfect condition.

Portion Sizes

Portion guides provided are estimates only and are based on standard industry cutting guides.

Actual portions may vary depending on how the cake is cut.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order:

More than 7 days before the order date
Any payments made may be transferred to a future date where possible.

Less than 7 days before the order date
No refunds or transfers can be offered, as ingredients will have been purchased and preparation will already be underway.

Non-Collection

Orders not collected within the agreed collection window may be disposed of due to the perishable nature of baked goods.

Refunds cannot be issued for orders that are not collected.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Customers must inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements at the time of ordering.

While great care is taken during preparation, all products are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs and other allergens, therefore cross-contamination cannot be completely eliminated.

Customers with severe allergies should contact us before placing an order.
