Learn how to bake beautifully soft sponges and transform them into a stunning buttercream drip cake in this hands-on class designed especially for beginners. The class begins with a baking session, where you'll prepare and bake your own sponge cakes from scratch. While your bakes cool, ready to take home with you, we'll move on to pre-baked sponges to learn the full decorating process, from layering and filling through to a smooth buttercream finish, a chocolate drip and finishing decorations. You'll work on your own cake throughout, with step-by-step guidance at every stage. With just two of you in the class, the experience is relaxed, supportive and completely personalised, so you can work at your own pace and ask as many questions as you like. By the end of the class you'll leave with the cakes you baked, a beautifully decorated drip cake, and the confidence to recreate both at home.
